Work started on the track with base boards built and cork laid also a colour wash added to help with planning of the layout. see track plan page for details.

WORK RESTART ON LAYOUT
With temperature rising we are now able to finish laying the track and work can start on scenic’s.
With the pending sale of Nodnol this will give more room to work.

WEBSITE WORTH A VISIT
Whilst visiting the Kyle of Lochalsh station I visited the station shop and discovered they have a web site so its worth a visit. www.kylerailway.co.uk

Track laying finished station platform and approach underway.

5th July 2009 - WORK CONTINUES
With the station building almost cmplete, attention has returned to the rest of the layout, the road bridge is nearly complete with the final section of crash fence added and a coat of paint makes all the difference. Work also continues on the platform with some detailing being added.
